The Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America, Seismological Research Letters, and The Seismic Record

The Seismological Society of America has three different journals that showcase the best in seismological research. Whether you’re a new or established author, you may have questions about submitting a paper to the SSA journals or are trying to decide which journal best fits your work. Please see this page for assistance in deciding which journal is right for you.

What is the EMB ?

The Euro-Med Bulletin is a seismological product of the EMSC, developed during the EPSI project (2002). It is based on the comprehensive collection of bulletins and arrivals provided by networks operating in the region. By merging data from 79 contributing networks and by computing locations in a homogeneous way, the EMB provides a reference catalogue of the seismicity from January 1998 until July 2012. In this panel, you can access the EMB and create your catalogue or map. Raw data as provided by the networks are also online.
